On both the eastern and western coasts of the continent, we have partners at multiple ports who professionally and safely load your shipment into containers and send them toward Europe. If needed, we also coordinate domestic U.S. transport and deliveries to our depot locations. We coordinate export and import customs clearance, and if necessary, storage of your belongings in Hungary, etc. We handle every process related to shipping — according to your needs. Over the decades, we have successfully handled the affairs of thousands of containers. Our ongoing goal remains maximum customer satisfaction — this drives everything we do.
The great advantage of container shipping is that it is the most cost-effective method of overseas transport — whether for vehicles, small packages, or large and heavy shipments alike.
From the time it arrives at our U.S. depot (whether a package or a vehicle), it takes approximately 10 weeks (± 2 weeks) before it can be picked up in Hungary after customs clearance. We are able to meet this timeframe for the majority of orders; however, due to the many variable factors and parties involved in the process, longer transit times may occasionally occur.
If we handle product procurement or vehicle purchase in the U.S. on your behalf, the purchase price must be paid in advance along with the procurement fee. The costs of package and vehicle shipping, as well as relocation (shipping fee, customs duty, customs administration, VAT) are always payable after the completion of the respective service (e.g. customs duty is due on the business day following the completion of the customs calculation).
It is important to know that many parties and factors are involved in the process before the vehicle reaches the customer; however, based on our experience, the risk is no higher than that of road transport within a continent. Of course, we can arrange value insurance upon request.
